Syria Salon, is an online platform dedicated to present different perspectives about Syria. To achieve that, it seeks to enhance the skills of the Syrian journalists to provide professional content about our home country, Syria, its past, present, and future.

We organizes training workshops for journalists in Syria and neighboring countries and provide professional mentorship and peer to peer learning.

Salon Syria publishes journalistic content to expand the space of constructive dialogue, away from strict, exclusive and limiting ideologies.

Syria Salon’s main goal is to restore Syrians’ confidence in their media regardless of their political orientation, and to encourage them to listen to each other after long years of polarization and exclusion. Overall, the project aims to provide a space through which bridges can be built, and to develop trust and mutual respect.
